This Assist Bar sits at the top of your screen. When you move your mouse to
the top of the screen, it expands itself. (At the first run, it may not. So,
right click on the thin line to expand it). You can right click on the Assist
Bar's Non-Icon area to get a special pop-up menu. There you have to do somany
things to do. Select Options and set Auto Hide to On and your Assist Bar expands
as and when your mouse reaches the top of the screen. There are somany features.
Note: You cannot drag-drop control panel items to Assist Bar. To create
control panel items, Shift right click on the Non-icon area of the Assist Bar,
choose the control panel item to be created. You can control right click the
Assist bar's non-client area to run the corresponding control panel icon even.
Right now Assist Bar displays a standard set of control panel items. I am doing
contineous study to get all the existing control panel icons to be displayed in
that pop-up menu.
